1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, password credentials where applicable, invite details, account settings, documents, uploaded images, shared content, and messages or requests you send to us.
We also collect information generated through your use of Linzot, including document metadata, collaboration activity, publishing and sharing settings, authentication events, device and browser information, IP address, log data, and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide Linzot, authenticate users, store and display documents, support collaboration, manage invites and access controls, publish shared content, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve reliability and product quality.
We may use contact information to send account, security, invite, support, and service-related messages.
3. Content and document data
Your documents and uploaded content are processed so Linzot can save, render, sync, share, publish, import, export, and back up your work. People you share with or invite may be able to view, edit, copy, export, or further share content depending on the permissions and product features available.
Published documents may be visible to anyone with access to the published link or route. Review publishing and sharing settings before distributing links.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Linzot uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies for authentication, remembered accounts, preferences, security, and application functionality. Some third-party authentication or infrastructure providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies when their services are involved.
5. Third-party services
We may rely on third-party providers for hosting, databases, storage, authentication, collaboration, email, logging, analytics, artificial intelligence features, and other infrastructure. These providers process information only as needed to help us operate Linzot or as otherwise described by their own terms and policies.
6. Artificial intelligence features
If you use AI-assisted features, relevant prompts, document excerpts, generated output, metadata, and diagnostic information may be sent to third-party AI providers or processed by Linzot systems to provide the requested feature, enforce limits, and improve reliability.
Do not submit sensitive information to AI features unless you are comfortable with that information being processed for the requested operation.
7. How we share information
We share information with service providers that help operate Linzot, with users you choose to collaborate with or publish to, when required by law or legal process, to protect rights, safety, and security, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will always remain secure or available.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for managing who has access to shared or published documents.
9. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide Linzot, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain backups, and support legitimate business and security needs.
Deleted content may persist for a limited time in backups, logs, caches, or audit records before removal according to operational retention practices.
10. Your choices
You may update account information, change document sharing settings, unpublish content, delete documents, or stop using Linzot through the controls available in the product. You may also contact us to request help with access, correction, deletion, or export where applicable.
Some information may need to be retained where required for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.
11. Children's privacy
Linzot is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12. International use
Information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice, such as posting the updated policy in the product or on this page. Continued use of Linzot after changes take effect means you acknowledge the updated policy.
